IFCHOR GALBRAITHS has a staff of over 300 people and comprises a network of 21 offices delivering chartering and S&P services for the dry bulk and tanker markets.

Active in dry and wet segments, joining forces will allow us to add greater value to customers by further investing in research, digitalization, data services and growing our global presence.
Together we will be able to create more opportunities for our existing customers, and also attract new customers thanks to the wealth of market intelligence resulting from the merger. We are determined to expand growth areas such as gas, offshore renewables and finance, and support our clients’ carbon management.

IFCHOR GALBRAITHS merger signed
Shipbrokers IFCHOR and Galbraiths are pleased to announce the signing of the merger agreement between the Parties, with integration of the new combined group now well underway. The new entity will comprise of 21 offices with personnel of more than 300 people.
Since our announcement in November of our intention to merge, we have been delighted by the positive feedback from colleagues and clients around the world. Joining forces is driven by an opportunity to add more value to our clients through a wider network, better research and greater digitalization to meet the challenges of a fast-evolving shipping industry.
We expect that the full integration of the Group to be finalised within the first quarter of 2023 and will update our website as this process finalizes.

This merger plays to both companies strengths. Galbraiths is well known for its tanker and S&P services whilst IFCHOR is one of the largest global dry cargo brokers. Thanks to our intimate understanding of the shipping markets we will be a trusted advisor to the shipping industry.
