Black Sea wheat exports season is coming strong!

The swift start of wheat harvest in Russia & Ukraine, to 38% & 57% completion respectively, brings the perspective of a quick ramp-up of wheat exports from the Black Sea.

Despite far from pre-war levels, volume harvested so far rose +40% YoY in Ukraine and reached a huge 41 Mt in Russia compared to only 14.3 Mt at the same stage last year! Hence, combined wheat exports are expected to climax +18% higher YoY at 6.5Mt/month in September.
