The Team
IG’s Research & Advisory team is an 12 person multidisciplinary group with tanker, dry bulk shipping and mining industry experience, combining market analysis with practical commercial understanding of global commodity & freight markets, sustainability issues and asset values.
Tanker research is led by Annika Bartels in London and dry bulk research by Vincent Lemaitre in Lausanne. Together they bring extensive experience covering freight markets, asset values and cargo flows.
Collaboration
The team works closely with broking desks across IG, combining on-the-ground market intelligence with structured analysis to provide a well-rounded view of market developments.
With a multilingual team, including Mandarin-speaking analysts, we are able to engage directly with market participants across key regions.
